We have always been avid anglers. I started out painting fishing lures. Late one evening, conversation with a close friend and fellow taxidermist led to us opening our own taxidermy studio. “I’ve seen you paint lures. Stick to mounting fish.” he said. Sounds like a deal to me! The next challenge was what should we name the shop? What’s my favorite fishing technique? Topwater! Boom, Topwater Taxidermy was born!

Locally owned and operated, you don’t have to worry about being on hold for 2 hours with a bot who can’t understand “speak with representative!!” We are real people, real friends. You’ll see us on the lake struggling to catch anything just like you!
